Sinai Family Life Center, an entity of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church established in support of the church, sponsored its 5th Annual Coat Drive to benefit the students of East St. Louis School District 189 and residents of the East St. Louis Metropolitan Community. Approximately 500 plus coats were distributed to area schools on Friday, December 13, 2013 and to the community on Saturday, December 22, 2013.

Special thanks to supporters, Walmart Stores, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., Belleville-O’Fallon Alumni Chapter and Mr. Keith Ward, formerly of East St. Louis, Illinois. The mission of the Sinai Family Life Center is to provide individuals and families with programs that will provide social services for the whole man; academics, nutrition, recreation, counseling, health and spiritual well-being.  These programs are geared toward children, youth, young adults and seniors. Rev. Herman L. Watson, Sr., is Pastor of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church.
